Peter is a property seller who would like to apply for Bridging Finance to cover his moving expenses.
He applies for R100,000.00 in Bridging Finance, and his property is expected to register in 30 days.
The Bridging Amount Peter requires is R100,000.00.
The total discounting fees for the 30 days will be R4,500.00, which is calculated as:
R100,000.00 × 0.15% per day = R150.00 discounting fee per day.
Therefore, Peter’s total bridging amount for the 30 days will be R104,500.00.
